The ability to disagree without turning difference into hostility or exclusion.
Tolerance is not complete agreement and does not require abandoning a conviction. It is accepting that society has room for people who are different, and that their dignity does not depend on being similar to us.

How do we live it?
- Ask to understand, not merely to prove the other person wrong.
- Avoid generalisations about nationalities and cultures.
- Do not reward content built on humiliation with laughter or sharing.
- Distinguish between rejecting a behaviour and rejecting a person.
- Learn something about another culture respectfully.
